Bruna Moraes is a Brazilian cinematographer based between London and São Paulo. She holds a degree in Visual Arts from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), with additional studies in photography and video art.
With over 16 years of experience in the film industry, she has worked in Brazil as a focus puller and camera operator on feature films, series, and commercials. Her credits include The Invisible Life, directed by Karim Aïnouz, Charcoal, directed by Carolina Markowicz, and the Oscar-nominated The Secret Agent, as well as several series for Netflix, Amazon, and HBO.
As a cinematographer, her work spans fiction, advertising, music videos, and fashion films. She recently shot the Amazonia–Brazil unit of Sony Studios LA’s feature Anaconda, and was selected to participate in the Terre di Cinema residency in Sicily, Italy.
Alongside her work in film, Bruna continues to develop personal projects that merge visual art and cinematography, exploring the relationship between image, narrative, and territory.
